Grand Prix Ends with Wind

by Kurt Hoehne

The light winds Friday and the absence of wind on Saturday (during the day) finally gave way to wind for Sunday’s single, final race. The race committee sent the fleet to Blakely Rocks and back to Shilshole, and the fleet enjoyed a good hard beat followed by a “hauling the mail” run back. There were a number of DNSs and DNFs, no doubt with a breakdown here or there.
