Fisheries Supply Company, a longtime Seattle-based supplier of marine products, announced the winners for the company’s fourth annual InNEWvation Award Show on November 16, 2017, at the Pacific Marine Expo. This annual event honors the best and most innovative new marine products on the market as determined by a large panel of industry experts invited by Fisheries. The methodology is simple, as the invited panelists are invited to review the products in-person and rate them on a standardized scale. Once tallied, the panelists’ ratings effectively act as votes to determine the product winners across 14 categories.

Notably, Torqueedo’s Cruise Fixed Pods won both the Propulsion and Fisheries Supply Employees Choice awards. Additionally, the MOB+ Wireless Man Overboard System won both the Grand Prize and Safety categories. Fans of Kanberra’s tea tree products will get a kick out of the company’s new Industrial Fogger & Concentrate that aerosolizes the cleansing oil, the winner of the Maintenance category.

Fisheries Supply Company was founded in Seattle in 1928. Initially located on Seattle’ waterfront on Pier 4 (now renamed Pier 55), the family business is now located near Gas Works Park on north Lake Union. Touted as one of the largest, if not the largest, marine product supplier in the Pacific Northwest, they have over 100,000 products in their inventory for boat dealers; builders, and yards; chandleries; and both commercial mariners and recreational boaters. You can learn more about them at fisheriessupply.com.
