It’s a captivating world-class destination right in our own backyard. Kick off summer with a highlight circuit of the spectacular San Juan Islands.

The watery trails winding through the San Juan Islands offer a variety of adventurous activities and stunning scenery. Located in Seattle’s backyard, this beautiful archipelago is familiar to many boaters here in the Upper Left; in fact, we here at Worth Avenue Yachts host a summer kick-off event in the Islands every year to the start the boating season. But seeing the Northwest paradise aboard your own private charter yacht is an experience all its own.  Let the captain take the helm, and  kick off summer with a charming circuit of the San Juan Islands. Flush with captivating beauty, this cruise will set the tone for the sunny months ahead and remind you, once again, why boaters keep coming back to the San Juans year after year.

Sucia Island

As you embark on your journey from Seattle, you’ll travel to Sucia Island, the crown jewel of the San Juan Islands. Choose between six beautiful locations to anchor around the island’s 14 miles of shoreline. While you’re on the island, be sure to check out the one-of-a-kind geological formations along the ten miles of exceptional hiking trails. End the day on the west side of the island by watching stunning sunset views in Shallow Bay.

Stuart Island

The tranquil waters off the coast of Stuart Island are only accessible by yacht, making it a boater’s dream location. Watch for river otters, harbor seals, and orca whales as you cruise past the lighthouse at Turn Point and the rolling cliffs at Lovers Leap. Enjoy the remote waters along Stuart Island before you head to the historic Roche Harbor.

Roche Harbor

The iconic Roche Harbor Resort is the venue for Worth Avenue Yachts’ Summer Launch Party and a favorite among the experienced yachters in the Pacific Northwest, packed with beauty, nature and adventure. Located on the northwest side of San Juan Island, you can follow the yellow-brick roads in the quaint seaside resort to several waterfront restaurants, shops featuring local artists, and a full-service spa. Be sure to speak with the knowledgeable and friendly locals who can share the rich history of Roche Harbor.

Friday Harbor

Just a short trip from Roche Harbor, Friday Harbor is also located on San Juan Island. The bustling town is sure to be one of your favorite destinations. Use transportation on the island to stop by San Juan Vineyards and enjoy a glass of wine. Or walk through a sea of purple at the Pelindaba Lavender Farm. Whether you choose to explore the island or whale watch from your private yacht, this town is sure to impress.

Orcas Island

The appropriately named Orcas Island is the largest of the islands and boasts spectacular views of orca whales. Head to Cascade Bay where you will find the charming Rosario Resort. While you are there, enjoy breathtaking ocean views, pristine waterfront dining, dreamy spa treatments, and the captivating history. Orcas Island is nicknamed the “Gem of the San Juan Islands,” after visiting you’ll understand why.

Lummi Island

The picturesque views of Mount Baker and serene coastline from Inati Bay on Lummi Island will leave you stunned. The whimsical and highly exclusive island offers astonishing views and activities from every beach and inlet. Visit the restaurant at Willows Inn, which was voted the #1 restaurant in North America from 2016-2018 by Opinionated About Dining (OAD).

Bellingham

The short trip from Lummi Island to Bellingham is the perfect way to end your journey. The town provides a variety of marinas, restaurants, and activities to choose from. No matter the weather, you’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore as you reminisce about the adventures and experiences created aboard your private yacht.
