Lining the rocky shores are quaint port towns with lively harbors nestled between a multitude of coves and inlets. As you cruise along the coast, you’ll be surprised by the breathtaking landscapes that dramatically transform as you venture farther north; each changing landscape presents an enchanting new experience.

The northern climate of Nova Scotia means you’ll see an influx of travelers during the summer months, which is also the most favorable time of the year to visit, especially as the waters surrounding Nova Scotia flaunt incredible fishing during these months. Try your hand at catching succulent wild Atlantic salmon or mouthwatering giant tuna. If you savor a more luxurious freshly caught meal, throw out lobster pots and wait for the abundant lobster to make their way to you. Located at the southern tip of Nova Scotia is Barrington, a small town that proudly boasts the title of “Lobster Capital of Canada” and proves to be a great jumping off point for your journey as it is located just 30 miles away from your first port of call in Yarmouth.
