For those looking for a vessel for extended cruises and lavish parties for guests, the new Azure 670 Sport Yacht from Outer Reef has all the amenities you could imagine, including one of the largest, most well-equipped galleys in boats of this size. Measuring more than 17 feet abeam, the 670 provides ample space for recreation and socializing, both inside and out.

The aft cockpit area includes plenty of space for watersports or fishing activities, with a built-in swim platform to boost these endeavors. Up a few steps to starboard, the raised aft deck has a central table surrounded by forward-facing bench seating and two stools that swivel from the table to a slide-out bar. To encourage indoor/outdoor interactions, the bar has a drop-down window that forms an effortless connection between the outside aft deck and the interior galley.

The spacious galley is surrounded by teak cabinetry, paneling, and flooring, with Corian countertops, under-mount sinks, and chrome Grohe Europlus II faucets. The GE Stainless Monogram Package appliances include an undercounter refrigerator, a dishwasher, a built-in microwave, an electric cooktop and oven, a trash compactor, and garbage disposal. Forward of the galley, the salon features wide windows to flood the space with natural light. Built-in settees are located on both sides, plus mounts for a pop-up TV to starboard, and a free-standing coffee table, which can be ordered in optional teak, wenge, cherry, or walnut materials.

The teak-paneled pilothouse includes a settee on raised platform, one Naugahyde Stidd helm chair, and a custom Outer Reef wood steering wheel at the helm with Hypro hydraulic steering. The helm features plenty of space for display screens, an overhead electronics console, Glendinning engine controls, a 4” magnetic compass, and bow thruster controls.

Side decks with non-skid surfacing and weathertight doors lead from the pilothouse and cockpit to the foredeck area. Situated below the Portuguese bridge is a generous U-shaped seating area with a central table—another perfect spot for al-fresco cocktails and conversation.

From the pilothouse, a floating staircase leads up to the flybridge, which can be covered in a forward clear enclosure in inclement weather. The full-beam boat deck has a non-skid surface, two L-shaped seating areas aft of the helm, full engine controls, a Stidd helm chair, and a 316 stainless-steel destroyer wheel. The aft open-air deck has a built-in barbecue grill, space for an RIB tender, and a 1,000-pound hydraulic davit.

Heading below the main deck, a curved teak stairway descends from pilothouse to a carpeted hallway with access to three teak-appointed cabins, along with space for an optional washer/dryer. The full-beam, midship owner’s suite features a king size berth, side tables, space for a widescreen TV, and an en suite head with Corian counters and a shower stall. The forward VIP stateroom includes a skylight providing natural light from the foredeck, a tapered queen-size berth, and an en suite head and shower. To port is a guest stateroom with two bunk berths, and access to the guest head.

The Azure 670 is powered by twin John Deere 6090 diesel engines, each providing 500 hp, using ZF transmissions.
