2022 Brabus Shadow 500

Brabus Shadow

Some new arrivals feature wide-beam luxury and sumptuously appointed staterooms, with ample room for entertaining and socializing on extended cruises. This is not one of those boats. The 2022 Brabus Shadow 500 is less about comfy sofas, gourmet galleys, and entertainment centers and more about the adrenaline rush of twin XS Pro V8 FourStroke outboards from Mercury Marine hurling you through the waves at 50+ knots. With a twin-stepped, 20-degree deadrise hull and a deep-V bottom, the 500 provides exceptional maneuverability and control.

This 30-foot beast is perfect for dive excursions, waterskiing, sport fishing trips, day cruising with friends, or for use as a nimble yacht tender. It’s shallow 2’8” draft allows it to go where many larger boats can’t reach. Whatever use is needed, it’s a multifunction workhorse.

The pilothouse features a tinted windshield, two helm seats, and either three or four aft seats, depending on the package chosen. The helm’s extended navigation package includes Simrad VHF RS40, Mercury VesselView displays, Halo20+ Broadband 4G radar, trim and bow thruster controls located on the wheel hub, engine remote control, and dual 12” chartplotters. Just under the helm, there is a walk-in head compartment with a sink, a fresh-water faucet, a mirror, electric flush, and added storage space.

But just because the Brabus 500 is fast doesn’t mean it skimps on comfort. A T-top version of the 500 Shadow has an open-air seating area and a wraparound windshield, but the cabin model features an enclosed cabin with leather seats, Esthec composite decking, and an electric retractable roof. A wet bar option includes an aft electric grill, a wet bar module, and an integrated top-loading refrigerator under the helm seat. The foredeck on all models has open-air, V-shaped seating, with a cushioned bench on the port side and across the bow. There is also a triangular table that can be used as a guest gathering spot or can be removed and converted into a sun pad.

Other optional Shadow 500 features include a leather steering wheel, an intelligent steering module, electric trim tabs, connectivity for IOS and Android, an aft-deck shower, stainless steel light mast, underwater lights, LED deck lighting and an LED roof spotlight, a Mercury theft detection system, and an extended audio package, with a 10-inch subwoofer and four signature speakers.
