En route to Northwest waters this summer is the latest Cruisers Cantius 46 luxury yacht, one of the first Cantius models to be powered by the new Volvo IPS 650 engines, which top out at 35 mph and cruise at 30 mph. The diesel inboards, when coupled with a Garmin glass cockpit package, provide smooth, effortless responsiveness and power. The intuitive controls include joystick docking and steering, touch-screen monitors, and Position Hold technology, making it suitable for both beginner and expert boaters. All helm switches and digital controls are within easy reach and marked for seamless navigation. A powered sunroof also brings more natural light to the helm.

But the helm is only the half of it. The salon features an L-shaped dinette aft of the bolster helm chair, with bench seating for four and an entertainment center, along with large windows providing breathtaking panoramic views. The galley includes an elegant solid surface countertop, microwave, dual-burner cooktop stove, convection oven, a stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, and a sink with designer faucet.

Notable features in the Cantius cockpit include sliding glass doors that open from the salon, a mini-fridge, a cockpit shower, and plenty of bench seating, either under the blue skies or covered by the powered retractable sun shade. A triangular table is strategically situated in the center of the L-shaped bench, where guests can enjoy meals from the outdoor grill that’s built into the transom and can be covered with a countertop when not in use.

A stainless steel safety gate divides the cockpit from a wide, submersible swim platform, providing more opportunities for recreational fun. More cabana-style seating, adjustable lounge chairs, and a built-in cocktail table can be found on the foredeck, as well, for sunbathing, sharing drinks, or taking in the alfresco environment.

The 46 offers a full-beam midship owner’s stateroom, complete with an en suite head and shower stall, voluminous storage space, a cozy port lounge with a recliner sofa, and a flat panel TV. The owner’s suite is also flooded with natural light through sizable side windows. A forward VIP stateroom in the bow includes a full walk-around, queen-size berth, and exclusive access to the day head, with separate showers.
