So, you want to do the Volvo Race? Here’s a video of yesterday’s broach-to-leeward by Mapfre. She’s down for a long time, it takes a while to get the canting keel on the new windward side. The second half of the video chronicles the mainsail repair. Just getting that main back on deck and hoisted is not for the feint of heart while under way, much less in 20+ kt winds!
