SEATTLE — Mariners are requested to delay their transit under the Lake Washington Ship Canal draw bridges until emergency crews on the Aurora Bridge have cleared the bridge.

Mariners requesting openings of these draw bridges, please contact the Coast Guard at 206-217-6001.
Operators of the ship canal bridges are not required to open for maritime traffic from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.for any vessel of less than 1000 tons, unless the vessel has in tow a vessel of 1000 gross tons or over.

Coast Guard Vessel Traffic Service has confirmed currently they do not have any deep-draft vessels coming from sea that are going to the Lake Washington Ship Canal.
