Seattle Store Opens April 26 on the Ship Canal. Everyone’s invited!  

It makes perfect sense, a marine store you can get to by boat. Redden Marine, which caters to both the commercial fishing and recreational marine industries, is opening a a new store on Ship Canal in the facility that previously housed LeClerq Shipbuilding and Henderson Boat Company.

Redden, which has been in business since 1959, serves both the commercial and recreational marine sectors. This new 37,000 square foot combined sales and distribution facility will serve both. The storefront at 1080 West Ewing Street is central to Fisherman’s Terminal, Lake Union, Elliott Bay and Shilshole Bay Marina by road.

Redden’s 7,000 square-foot retail store is open to the general public and there is an open-air distribution center that provides an impressive display of the working side of the marine business. Redden Marine will celebrate the grand opening of its new Seattle location on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The general public, boating-enthusiasts and industry professionals are invited to meet factory representatives who will host live product demonstrations throughout the day, and are encouraged to take part in technical seminars, enjoy refreshments and participate in an hourly raffle for great prizes.
