Hebert Adds Brokers

by Bruce Hedrick

Hebert Yachts, the locally owned and based Yacht Brokerage, is pleased to announce the addition of two new brokers to its staff of yacht brokers.

Vince Haag

Haag was born and raised in the Seattle area, and has spent 30 years fishing commercially in the Bering Sea crab industry.Hebert Brker 2 Vince Haag 002

He started as a bait boy, went to deck boss, then engineer, then first mate. After 15 years he earned a 1600 ton master captains license and started running several crab boats. During his time as a captain he fished primarily in the Bering Sea, but also fished in Southeast Alaska, where he has navigated up and down the Inside Passage over forty times. Vince also was one of ten captains that took American crab vessels to Russia as part of a joint venture in the Sea of Okhotsk. He found it to be an awesome, very rewarding experience, and sometimes very edgy.

Haag brings extensive knowledge of navigation and seamanship which will be extremely helpful to the Hebert Yachts customer base.

He is excited to be joining the firm of Hebert Yachts where his maritime talents match well to the Yacht sales industry. Please feel free to give him a call at the office, 206-283-6400 or on his cell 206-617-649 and welcome him to Hebert Yachts.
