The Northwest Paddling Festival is on for tomorrow, May 11, at Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. It will be running from 9:00 am ’til 5 pm.
It’s a chance to meet vendors, ask questions and demo boats. There’s no admission charge, however there is a $10 state park parking fee and $5 fee to demo the boats. There are beginner classes for SUP (stand-up paddle boarding).
There are also two spectator-friendly races scheduled, a 6-miler and a 2-miler.
