April 2014 - Featured Articles
We’ve made it! That is, we made it to those months where in the Pacific Northwest it could be mid-summer or mid-winter, both in the same afternoon. Of course that also means it’s a time to recommission the boat, attack that to-do list and get on the water. We at Northwest Yachting encourage you to do the latter as much as possible. You don’t need the biggest boat or the best weather to enjoy our waters.
The April issue of the magazine is at your local chandlery, in your mailbox or here online. As usual, it covers the breadth of Northwest boating, from cruising BC to cruising Baja, from Tony’s fishing tips to a wrapup of what was a highly unusual set of Center Sound races.
While you’re here, please poke around the web site. Take a look at our videos, and an abundance of photos there just wasn’t room for in the magazine. If you’re looking for a place to start, here‘s a 2-minute tour.
We would love to hear your thoughts on how to improve the site. More importantly, we’d love to get your press releases, My Boat Story submissions, photos or just about anything you want to share with fellow boaters. Send it all to Kurt Hoehne.
If you’re “in the biz,” please consider advertising. This site is geared toward supporting our pastime, getting the word out about events and engaging boaters. We fervently believe that the best way to help your business is by getting more people on the water.
