This handsome Queenship 90-footer, powered by twin 1,400-hp Caterpillar 3412E diesels, is a strikingly beautiful Tom Fexas design. But the yacht’s name, Her Idea, gives you a sense of who ran the show under the previous owners and why the boat is in such excellent condition.

Entering via the enlarged teak-covered swim platform at the stern, two curved staircases provide access to a spacious covered cockpit. The aft deck includes built-in seating with two teak dining tables that can be combined to seat 10 people.

Moving forward through the sliding glass cockpit doors is the main salon. The vast interiors have all been renovated with rich, elegant cherry and maple wood throughout. A day head is located to starboard forward, with a vanity and window. Amenities for salon entertaining include a U-Line wine cooler, a liquor cabinet, an L-shaped lounge, and two convertible tables. To starboard is the entertainment center, located opposite a lamp desk, an easy chair, and an ottoman. A low counter divides the salon and contains a large plasma TV on a high-low lift. The low-mounted windows provide excellent visibility from any spot in the salon.

On the forward bulkhead, a sliding pass-through hatch leads to the galley, forward of the salon and aft of the pilothouse. The full-width galley is a large U-shaped area with an island in the center and has Corian countertops and a double sink. Appliances include a Kitchenaid refrigerator, a Sub-Zero two-drawer hidden freezer, two Kitchenaid ovens, a Miele electric five-burner infrared cooktop, a Miele dishwasher, and a Panasonic microwave.

Forward of the galley is the pilothouse, featuring a five-window windshield, a single pedestal-mount Stidd helm chair, and a comfortable bench seat and table just aft. The helm has a full suite of Garmin electronics, plus a Fantom 56 72-mile radar, Simrad AP70 autopilot, ICOM model IC-M59 VHF, Naiad H12 bow thruster controls, two Furuno FA-150 AIS and NavNet controllers, and Interphase forward-scanning sonar. Two watertight sliding sidedeck doors lead to the foredeck, featuring a queen-size sun pad, a bench seat, and two teak chaise lounges.

Belowdecks, the full-beam owner’s stateroom has a centerline king size bed and a sit-down vanity with lift-up desktop. Forward to starboard is a generous sized master head with a full-size tub/shower combo and built-in Jacuzzi whirlpool. The VIP cabin has a queen size berth flanked by with two other stacked berths and an en suite head with a shower. The port forward guest cabin has a single queen-size berth, also with an en suite head and shower stall.

The 21-year-old Her Idea has had some work done over the last few years, seen mostly on the top deck, which features a customized, semi-enclosed hardtop flybridge with three Stidd helm chairs, a U-shaped seating area and table, a four-person hot tub, and a BBQ cooking station. Aft of the flybridge is broad space that fits dual davit cranes, two 2014 SeaDoo Spark jet-skis, two paddle boards, and a 2014 Boston Whaler tender with a 60-hp Mercury outboard.
