Once in while a boatbuilder just has to prove it makes a solid boat, and it often involves dropping it. Hobie did it with their 33-footer in the early 1980s to prove they were more than ready to build a strong keelboat. Old Town did it with its Royalex canoes. Now Nova Craft has done it to prove their new TuffStuff laminate. Here they drop the Nova Craft Expedition 16-foot Prospector off a six story building, then take it for a paddle.
