Laura Dekker’s story comes to the big screen, and one of it’s earliest showings is at the Seattle International Film Festival. Dekker sailed around the world by herself at age 14. While the requisite media circus was in place when the courts got involved, Dekker herself seemed to remain grounded, humble and genuine the whole time. And this trailer is very promising.
