We’ll get some more details on this event that has been initiated by Jake Beattie of the Northwest Maritime Center. In the meantime this short video might rev up some imaginations out there. If this race catches hold it could become epic. 750 miles of unsupported, non-motorized racing would separate the big boys and girls from the little boys and girls in a hurry. And it seems it would handy to be both a good sailor and rower. Start preparing now, the gun goes off on June 4 of next year.
