Given that it’s traditionally broken over a bow for christening, Champagne has long been a celebratory companion to boating. So, it’s only fitting that the French classic is now part of the inspiration behind a brand-new vessel venture: the Pink Bateau. Moored on Lake Union in Seattle and wrapped in a charming cotton candy pink hue,the 43-foot-long 1970 Gran Mariner plays host to birthdays, anniversaries, showers, proposals, micro-weddings, and other life events with custom parties planned by local entertaining and design expert, Kelley Moore.

“I’ve always had a deep desire to connect people and create moments that are unforgettable,” says Moore, who has appeared on shows like Today and The View, and recently debuted a new show on Discovery+, High Design. “One day I was floating in my dinghy, with a bottle of Champagne, looking at the boat thinking about the re-design—and that’s when I had the idea to bring the tablescapes that I’ve created on TV and in magazines to life and share them with other people by creating curated experiences on the water.”

Packages include everything from a dessert cruise featuring sweet treats from Trophy Cupcakes paired with XOBC Rosé sparkling wine, or you can choose the charcuterie and fromage grazing table for a more savory option, all the way up to a luxurious, four-course seated dinner experience complete with cocktails madewith Fast Penny Spirits liquor. Each event includes a design consultation with Moore, who works with licensed caterers and chefs to craft a personalized menu, and you can sit back and relax as every detail is handled by the professional crew (who all sport pink berets, of course). Pops of stylish pink abound aboard, from the hand-painted geometric motif on the walls of the main salon and galley to the magenta pink faucet found in what is quite possibly the cutest head out on the lake.
